“If you set yourself on fire, people will gather to watch you burn,” has been the story behind The Chase Sanford Band since day one. The Chase Sanford Band has become incredibly popular in the Texas/Oklahoma region, touring on the strength of their debut CD Honky Tonk Reject and their powerful live performances.
Chase Sanford started in Bonham, Texas, playing at regional venues and honing his songwriting skills before releasing Honky Tonk Reject in late 2012. Sanford formed a band with Garry Moore (lead guitar and vocals), Jason "Fuzzy" Smith (bass and vocals), Sevans Henderson (keys) and Corbett Potter (drums) and set out playing the Texas country music scene, becoming become a potent regional draw. The band has played major venues, festivals, charity events, Oklahoma City Downtown Airpark, and The American Airlines Center Dallas Stars pre-game show, opened for such national artists as Kevin Fowler, Zane Williams, Stoney Larue, Deryl Dodd, Charlie Robinson, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Chris Knight, Whiskey Myers, Dustin Perkins and Brandon Jenkins and won various awards. They recorded their sophomore album in summer of 2014, to be released later this year.
