Capital Green

July 25 - September 26, 2015

Situated behind New Jersey’s State Capitol building and surrounded by historic sites like Trenton's World War I memorial, Petty’s Run and the Old Barracks, Capital Green’s three-acre site sat dormant for five years before the Levitt AMP opportunity reinvigorated efforts to create a vibrant recreational and performance space celebrating the city’s rich cultural and historical offerings. The summer series enlivened a centrally located unused public space by providing an opportunity for the community to come together to experience the arts, drawing renewed attention to Trenton as an attractive place to visit and live.

Presented by the Trenton Downtown Association, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting economic growth and development as well as arts and cultural activities in the capital city.
